This is a pic of my sister and I taken on Second Life. I am the good looking one on the right, only because another SL resident named Gidge from Don't Ask! gave me a makeover (Thanks Gidge). I met Gidge at the BlogHer 2008 Conference on SL. The event was awesome, the ladies I met simply - AMAZING. Gidge and many others were so helpful with us newbies; made the experience both rich and entertaining -not so akward as we stumbled around. Learning to dance, opening gifts and being amongst some very tech savvy and talented women was a powerful feeling and I have found many mentors to learn from. SL is very addicting - so much so I asked my sister to join as we used to meet at CyberTown many years ago. She did - so if you see the dynamic duo (us) around falling on stuff or stumbling around in our travels and exploring - say hey, and pardon us as we practice and get better in our new world.
